Wed. Word: Resilient – spring back; rebounding.

Are you resilient or did you get stuck?  Resilient also means “returning to the original form or position after being bent, compressed, or stretched” according to Dictionary.com. We are all bent, compressed, or stretched every day.  Relationships exist at every level (social, familial, corporate, environmental, biological, etc.), and each relationship must be managed with flexibility.  That flexibility requires bending, compressing, stretching… It’s work.  It’s tiring.  It’s needed; just like a respite is needed.  Recovery can happen – in the presence of a nurturing environment to restore balance.

Life is crazy right now.  Everything is compressed and feels like a spring, ready to pop loose. It’s time to settle. Be resilient, and be like a goose: let the rain roll off your back and keep on moving forward.
